Brando wins coveted young player prize

Congratulations to Brandon Miele on winning the PFAI Young Player of The Year Award on Friday night to finish up what has been an excellent year for the young Tallaght footballer.

He saw off the challenge of Ismahil Akinade (Bohemians) and Sean Gannon (Dundalk) to deservedly take the award voted for by his fellow professionals.

Last week is one that Brandon will remember for a long time as he also made his debut for the Ireland Under 21’s in a friendly 0-0 draw with Norway last Wednesday in Waterford.

After signing a new contract with Rovers in September Brandon spoke of how he is really enjoying his time at the club. Hoops fans are really enjoying watching him and no doubt having Brando available for next year gives everyone associated with the club a lift.
