Blanchardstown IT Firm win third European National Champion Business Awards

Agile Networks, a Blanchardstown-based IT firm, has been selected as National Champion for Ireland in the annual European Business Awards for the third year in a row.

The multi award-winning company will join other Irish National Champions, including Car Trawler, Dawn Meats and GloHealth, to compete head-to-head with European companies across 32 other countries.

Darragh Richardson, Managing Director of Agile Networks said: “We’re very proud to be selected to represent Ireland as a National Champion for the third year in a row. The European Business Awards offer us a chance to benchmark ourselves against the best in Europe so to make this stage for three years running, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to customer focus, technical excellence and our unique operational model. This allows Agile Networks to continue growing in a very competitive marketplace.”

The next round of the European Business Awards 2015-16 requires the National Champions to make a presentation video, which will be considered by the judging panel, made up of Europe-wide business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs. The best of this group will be awarded ‘Ruban d’Honneur’ status and go on to be part of the grand final in 2016.

The public will also be able to vote online through www.businessawardseurope.com for their favourite ‘National Public Champion’. Last year over 170,000 votes were cast with over 500,000 people visiting the EBA website during the competition.
