Congratulations to our January Community Champion

Our January Community Champion is 15-year-old Ross-Lee Fennell from Glenview here in Tallaght. Ross-Lee has made amazing efforts to help youths in the area with a number of anti-bullying initiatives and won the ‘One to Watch’ prize at the Youth Citizenship Awards with Foroige.

He is a 4th year student at Tallaght Community School and is currently on the prestigious Tenderfoot scholarship at the The Civic Theatre. Ross-Lee impressed us because of his positive attitude and go-getter approach and his aim to create a difference in the community of young people in Tallaght.

Another project he is working on at the moment is a magazine and app for young people and kids in the area to find local youth clubs and activities to engage with. Furthermore Ross-Lee was also awarded the Heart of Gold accolade at the recent Tallaght Person of the Year awards!

Congratulations Ross-Lee, we think you deserve our Community Champion award and hope you continue to make Tallaght a great place to live!
