Five Dublin Designers Nominated for Coveted Award

Five Dublin designers are amongst the nominees for the Dublin Fashion Festival Young Designer of the Year Award for 2017.

The talented young designers will have the opportunity to showcase their designs a spectacular catwalk show taking place in the stunning surroundings of the Round Room, in the Mansion House, on Friday, September 22nd.

The five Dublin nominees, along with seven other finalists from across Ireland, will display their designs in front of key fashion media and influencers, including some of Ireland’s most established designers and fashion buyers, as they compete for the title of Young Designer of the Year.

Clondalkin native Danielle McGregor, who attends the National College of Art and Design, has been named as one of the finalists for the award for her creation.

Danielle will be joined at the showcase in the Mansion House later this month by Aoife Eustace Doyle from Dundrum, Blackrock’s Maria Christina McPadden, Romy Blennerhassett from Griffith College Dublin and Naomi Ajetunmobi from Fairview.
