Adele fans have received an early Christmas Present with the news that the icon is going on the road and will be playing in Dublin and Belfast next February and March.
The tour is the Adeles first time on tour in four years. She last played Dublin’s Olympia Theatre in 2011 following the release of the album 21.
The decision to go on tour isn’t an easy one as Adele has often spoken about her trouble with stage fright.
Speaking in America this week, where she’s promoting her new album, she said:
“I get so nervous with live performances that I’m too frightened to try anything new. It’s actually getting worse. Or it’s just not getting better, so I feel like it’s getting worse, because it should’ve gotten better by now.”
Adele will kick off her tour with two nights in Belfast on February 29 and March 1 and then she plays two further night’s at Dublin’s 3Arena on March 4 and 5.
Advance tickets sales will begin next Tuesday, December 1 on adele.com with general ticket going on sale on Friday, December 4.
A perfect Stocking filler for the Adele fan in your life!
