House prices fall

Prices of residential properties fell again in Dublin in the month of June. Latest figures released this month from the CSO, show property prices fell by 0.4% in the capital. Still prices are 11.1% higher than in June of 2014.

Outside Dublin, property prices rose by 0.4% in June, which when compared to last year were up 9.7%. Taking a look at national level, residential property prices at the end of June were 37.4% lower than their peak level in 2007.

Dublin residential property prices overall were 38.4% lower than their highest level, while outside of the capital residential property prices were 40.5% lower than their highest level in 2007.
