National Spring Clean 2016

National Spring Clean, which is operated by An Taisce, is Ireland’s most popular, well recognised and successful anti-litter initiative.

Each year National Spring Clean runs from the 1st to 30 th April and this event encourages everyone to take part in clean ups throughout the month of April.

Lots of resident groups, schools and community groups are already planning their own National Spring Clean day. All events, no matter how big or small, make a huge difference to your community and to the environment. So if you would like to take part just follow these simply steps:

Plan your event – date and area you would like to clean

  • Register with An Taisce at www.nationalspringclean.org or at 01 4002219
  • Receive your An Taisce Clean-up Kit – bags, tabards, event organisation tips and posters to advertise your event.
  • Contact SDCC at glee@sdublincoco.ie or 4149000 – with the date of your clean up and a collection point and we will arrange collection of all the rubbish and recycling bags following your clean up.

It couldn’t be easier, so get planning and let’s make South Dublin a place to be really proud of.
