Public meeting on early childcare in An Cosán tonight

Senator Katherine Zappone will be chairing a public meeting on childcare tonight, September 30th at 7.30pm. The purpose of the meeting, held in An Cosán, Kiltalown Village Centre, Jobstown, is for the early years sector and for parents to discuss the best way forward for early years investment.

Senator Zappone has invited a panel of early years experts to discuss early years investment including Maura McMahon (An Cosán), Teresa Heeney (Early Childhood Ireland), Dr. Geraldine French (St. Patrick’s College, DCU), Aishling Kelly (An Cosán) and Marlene McCormack (St. Patrick’s College, DCU).

Senator Zappone will also be presenting her policy and investment proposals, ‘An Equal Start in Early Childhood’, which was published in July.
