Ramble Aid events to raise funds for Teenline Ireland and Laura Lynn

Sponsored charity fundraiser Ramble Aid will host a number of events on Saturday September 26th in aid of Teenline Ireland and Laura Lynn children’s charity.

The fundraiser will include a 5k and 10k loop walk at Bohernabreena Reservoir and an 8k ramble to Maureen’s Brook, as well as an exhilarating “4 Peaks Challenge 10k Hike”.


Simon Sweeney of Killtipper Ramblers, organiser of Ramble Aid said, “With Ramble Aid we hope to raise funds for worthwhile causes while promoting Tallaght as a gateway to the Dublin MountainsOn event Day 26th September 2015, we will be joined by the Dublin Mountain Partnership and their rangers, promoting some of the most historic and scenic places of Ireland. Following the policies and guidelines of Mountaineering Ireland we will promote the responsible use of our Mountain areas.”

Ramble Aid is supported by South Dublin County Council and Tallaght Community Council. Each location has easy parking opportunities, all the routes are measured by Athletics Ireland and all events will be timed. Free refreshments will also be provided.
