RTÉ and TV3 expected to share coverage of Euro 2016

The countdown has begun and if you aren’t one of the lucky ones to be jetting off to France this summer then not to worry as you won’t be short of games on your TV.

It has been reported that TV3 is set to show more than 20 Euro 2016 games after reportly reaching a deal with RTÉ to split coverage of this summer’s football showpiece, neither side has yet to officially comment on any negotiations.

Deals between TV stations are not uncommon as seen with the BBC and ITV in the UK where they split coverage of a number of tournaments. Regardless of whether the deal is agreed upon or not you will be certain to get Ireland’s games on your TV screens this June along with the rest of the Euro 2016 fixtures.
