The ongoing dispute between the nurses union and the HSE may result in strikes at Tallaght Hospital and six others next Thursday. The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) rejected the HSE’s proposal to deal with overcrowding and staffing issues.

The strikes are scheduled for Thursday January 14th and 26th if a resolution is not found before then. The full list of hospitals due to take part in the strike include Tallaght Hospital; Beaumont Hospital, Dublin; Mercy University Hospital, Cork; Cavan General Hospital;University Hospital Waterford; MRH, Tullamore and University Hospital, Galway.
