Tesla electric cars coming to Ireland

Tesla the manufactures premium electric vehicles looks set to start selling their cars in Ireland. However, the vehicles, which are powered by Tesla’s advanced electric powertrain and can achieve supercar acceleration from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, are likely to cost over €73,500 here.


Real life Tony Stark and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk confirmed on Twitter that Tesla would be coming to Ireland in 2016.

Tesla electric cars typically have a range of 400 kilometres between charges, which is twice as high a range as existing electric cars in Ireland, including Nissan’s Leaf and Volkswagen’s eGolf. Tesla currently produces the Model S sedan and the Model X SUV crossover and has plans to release a Model 3 soon.
