The Community Endeavour Awards aim to acknowledge, promote and recognise the work of community and voluntary organisations within the administrative area of South Dublin County.
There is an immense richness and variety of voluntary organisations working in South Dublin and this initiative in some small way tries to recognise the efforts of those who carry out this valuable work.
Applications are invited from community organisations whose activities have made a significant difference in their community and have had a beneficial effect on the residents. Community organisations are also invited to nominate businesses and local volunteers who contribute and enhance community activity in this County.
Awards will be made under the following headings:
Civic Pride and Community Endeavour
Community Facility of the Year
Sport and Recreation
Social Inclusion Award
Active Age Award
Gradam na Gaeilge
Community/School Garden or allotment
Community Sustainability Initiative
Volunteer of the Year
The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 14th October at 5 pm
