Now and Then Productions present ‘Godspell’ to Tallaght in March

The Now and Then Production Company will present their new show Godspell in St. Mary’s Priory in Tallaght in March. The multi-denominational youth and adult music and drama group stage musicals and plays with a religious theme every year.

Founded in 1990, the organisation aims to meet the need to bring the visual gospel stories to the wider public, and to encourage young people across Tallaght and further afield towards the spoken word. The group don’t charge membership fees and all are welcome to join.

Godspell is a contemporary musical representation of the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Set in today’s world – Jesus is seen to be a charismatic character, who draws people to himself and his words. Godspell first opened on Broadway in 1971, and it went on to be a huge long running success.

Godspell runs in St. Marys Priory, Tallaght Village from March 8th -11th. Doors open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm sharp. Admission: Adults €10.00: Children €5.00. Concessions €5.00.
